Bongiwe Msweli, a former Public Management student, has landed her first job as Bambanani Campus’ receptionist. The 25-year-old from Ingwavuma joined the College as a first-year student in 2017.
While working as an intern at Ingwavuma Circuit Office she applied for the position and to her surprise her prayers were answered and she got the job. She says the interviews were very difficult so she was amazed to get the job.
Her duties include the maintenance of the reception area, attending to visitors and clients, answering telephonic enquiries and ensuring that staff members have attendance registers. Her favourite part about her job is being the first point of contact for visitors and providing them with the information they need about the College.
In her spare time, she enjoys going out, exploring different places and looking for the next big adventure. Bongiwe’s plans for the future are to study further and give herself the soft life that she deserves. Her advice for other students is to “believe in yourself because anything is possible, success is a process.”
“I’d like to thank Bambanani Campus for accepting me when I first came to study at the College, I doubt I would be where I am today if I had studied anywhere else,” she concluded.
