It was day of jubilation for 50 students who were selected to do a National Certificate in Radio Production as they were inducted by Linda Sibiya, the CEO of Magic Broadcasting Academy which is accredited by MICT Seta, at ZCBF, recently.
Sibiya educated them about how the programme will run and the entire roll out plan. The classes for this course will resume on 15 April. The College is also gearing up to launch the project on 26 March at the Bon Hotel Waterfront which will be attended by the Seta regional manager and the Magic Media Group team, to name a few.
Speaking to the Marketing team, Slondile Mbuyazi said she was very ecstatic about the opportunity to study what she has always been passionate about. “After dropping out of school, because of lack of funds, it’s been quite difficult to look for a job without any qualification. After obtaining my certificate I’m certain that job hunting will be easier for me. I’ve always had a passion for broadcasting and grateful for this rare opportunity,” reiterated Mbuyazi.
These talented youngsters were selected after auditions which attracted many to the shores of the College, in October last year. They will study through a 12 month learnership through a partnership with Magic Broadcasting Academy.
