We have been bestowed with a noble task of preparing for the future, the young people of our country and KwaZulu-Natal, in particular. We have been given a mammoth task to manage a prestigious TVET College on behalf of South Africa and its people. The society looks up to us to prepare for the future of our country. It is against this background that I borrowed the words of Malcom X to emphasize our pivotal role in society.

In asserting itself, the College carefully crafted a vision that; “uMfolozi TVET College strives to be an innovative and transformed creative leading College in Technical and Vocational training, providing high quality and market responsive programmes that respond to the inclusive global socio-economic imperatives”. This vision is our compass for delivering high-quality and market responsive programmes. 

I am elated to have been given an opportunity to lead such an ambitious and dynamic College that continues to push the boundaries. The leaders that came before me built a solid foundation for the success of this giant College.
